FORMING & NON-FORMING FILM FOR FOOD PACKAGING
Forming and non-forming is a two-part package that seals the top and bottom films together to preserve food items. Forming involves film that can be shaped or formed with heat to fit the contours of the food product being packaged. This process is also known as thermoforming. The Non-Forming film, or top of the package, does not require heat and is pre-formed into standard shapes and sizes. The materials best for your application depend on your needs, such as oxygen barrier, moisture barrier, sealability, and flexibility.
